Red Door is pleased to announce a partnership with Stockholm’s Southnord.artspace, an artist-run platform dedicated to artistic expressions, approaches and narratives of the Afro-Nordic community.
Our collaboration is through Poetic Phonotheque, so we’re happy to share this open call with you:
OPEN CALL by Southnord x The Poetic Phonotheque
Calling all visual poets of African descent in the Nordic region!
We invite you to submit your contributions of poetry in short film formats including experimental
film, animation, video collage, and short film.
The jury will curate a selection that will be presented at the Southnord poetry
evening to be held during the Southnord Artfest at Kulturhuset in Stockholm.
Important dates:
– Submission Deadline: 15 September 2023
– Selection Announcement: 30 September 2023
